Day 1: Arrive at Ruhengeri
Depending on your arrival time, depending on the time of arrival, lunch and the drive to Volcanoes national park takes effect, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda’s country side of a thousand Hills, the meandering Rivers below the valleys, colorful markets along the way, farm terraces and different plant species including birds as you are driven on. Arriving later at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, depart to the park headquarters for the briefing on Gorilla trek formalities with packed lunch and trekking gears to enable you trek easily. Set off for trekking into the tropical rain forest in search for the habituated gorilla groups. It’s the most breathtaking and distressing wildlife experiences one can have by getting close to the animals to get a good observation. The huge biodiversity, implausible scenery and extraordinary views also attract your attention. Please request for availability of optional activities that can be arranged that’s in case time avails.
Day 3: Volcanoes national Park – Kigali
Early departure after your breakfast in the morning at 8:00am, sightseeing before having lunch in Kigali. You can choose to have a city tour with the genocide memorial in Gisozi a city suburb and if time allows later visits the craft market. Transfer to Kigali Airport for your flight back home.
